Passenger side leaks on a 2-door Jeep Wrangler are very common, especially
during heavy rain or when the vehicle is parked on an incline. In many
cases, the water does not drip visibly from above, but instead travels
behind the trim and ends up soaking the carpet and floor padding underneath.

The root cause is typically the factory sealing design. The door seal
closes against painted metal rather than a dedicated body-side
weatherstripping system, which allows water to work its way into the cabin
under certain conditions.

Once inside, the water can spread quickly beneath the carpet, which is why
it often appears as a soaked floor without any obvious source of entry.

I recommend installing a proper body-side weatherstripping kit to close
that gap and stop the water intrusion at its source.
