Hi Tony,
Thanks for reaching out.
The leaking you're experiencing at the driver door of your 2014 JK 4-door
hardtop during light rain is a very common issue on these vehicles.
The root cause comes down to the factory sealing design. Unlike most
vehicles on the road today, the Wrangler JK does not have a proper
body-side sealing surface. Instead, the door seal is trying to compress
directly against painted metal. Since painted metal isn't a consistent
sealing surface, small gaps can develop around the door, allowing water to
enter.
Even when the factory weatherstripping looks perfectly fine, the issue
usually isn't the seal itself—it's the lack of a proper gasketed sealing
surface for the seal to compress against. That's why replacing or adjusting
the factory weatherstripping often doesn't solve the problem.
Our body-side weatherstripping creates the sealing surface that the factory
design is missing. It allows your existing door seal to compress evenly and
consistently, closing those gaps and stopping water intrusion. It also
helps make the cabin noticeably quieter by sealing out outside wind and
road noise.
Below is the exact kit for your 2014 JK 4-door Hardtop:
