Hello William,
That is actually very common with these JL Wranglers. Many owners initially
think the leak is coming from one specific area, such as the front of the
door, only to later notice water showing up near the rear of the door or in
multiple locations. This happens because the water is able to travel around
the inside body channels before it finally appears on the carpet or floor.
The fact that you already replaced the factory door seals and the leak
still continued is a strong indication that the issue is not the door seals
themselves. The root cause is typically the lack of a proper inner
body-side weather seal from the factory, which allows water to bypass the
outer seals entirely.
Our JL Leak Fix Kit was specifically designed to correct this issue by
creating the proper seal that the vehicle is missing from the factory. Once
installed, it helps stop the water intrusion and keeps the interior dry.
If you have any additional questions, please respond to this email or you
can call me directly to further discuss this matter.
Regards,
Tony
