both the driver and passenger front doors and soaking the carpet underneath
the floor mats—is one of the most common leak patterns on the JK platform.

A-pillar areas, then travels behind the trim and seals before eventually
soaking the carpet and padding underneath. By the time the carpet feels
wet, a significant amount of water has usually already made its way inside.

vehicles on the road today, the Wrangler JK does not have a proper
body-side sealing surface. Instead, the door seals are trying to compress
directly against painted metal. Since painted metal is not a consistent
