Hi Luisana,
Thanks for reaching out!
The leaking you're experiencing around the passenger door of your 2014 JK
4-door hardtop is a very common issue on these vehicles. Since you're
experiencing water intrusion during light rain, heavy rain, car washes, and
while driving, it's a strong indication that the factory door sealing
system isn't providing a consistent seal.
The root cause usually comes down to the factory sealing design. Unlike
most vehicles on the road today, Jeep Wranglers do not have a proper
body-side sealing surface. Instead, the factory door seals are trying to
compress directly against painted metal. Since painted metal isn't a
consistent sealing surface, small gaps can develop around the upper door
and A-pillar areas, allowing water to enter.
Even when the factory weatherstripping appears to be in good condition, the
issue usually isn't the seals themselves. It's the lack of a proper
gasketed sealing surface for those seals to compress against. This is why
replacing or adjusting the factory weatherstripping often doesn't solve the
problem.
Our body-side weatherstripping creates the sealing surface that the factory
design is missing. It allows your existing door seals to compress evenly
and consistently, closing the gaps that allow water intrusion. The included
drip strips also help redirect water to the outside of the Jeep rather than
allowing it to enter the cabin.
Since your Jeep has a hardtop, the kit also seals the Freedom Panels
themselves, which is an important part of properly sealing the upper front
door areas. Rather than addressing only the passenger door, I recommend
installing the complete kit so the entire Jeep is sealed as a system.
An additional benefit is that properly sealing these areas helps reduce
outside wind and road noise, making the cabin noticeably quieter.
Here is the correct kit for your 2014 JK 4-door Hardtop:

If you have any questions before ordering or during installation, you have
direct access to me 7 days a week. I'm happy to help you get your Jeep
completely sealed up so you can enjoy it without worrying about water every
time it rains.
