Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes — our leak fix kit will work with both your hardtop in the winter and
your soft top in the summer.

The system installs onto the body of the Jeep itself, creating the proper
body-side sealing surface that the factory design is missing. Because of
that, it works with whichever top configuration you’re running.

Unlike most vehicles on the road today, the Wrangler JK does not have a
proper body-side sealing surface. Instead, the hardtop and soft top seals
are both trying to compress directly against painted metal. Since painted
metal is not a consistent sealing surface, gaps develop around the doors,
A-pillars, windshield frame, and roof transition areas, allowing water and
wind intrusion.

Our body-side weatherstripping kit creates the missing gasketed sealing
surface the factory design lacks, allowing both the hardtop and soft top
seals to compress evenly and consistently.

So whether you’re running your hardtop during winter or switching to the
soft top in summer, the kit will continue working with both setups.

Below is a link to the leak fix kit that will solve your issues.

Best regards,
Tony
